Andromeda
Andromeda fits easily into any workstation without modifications, and its screen can even be shared with the desktop PC to save space. The flat screen means you have the viewing area of a 17” computer monitor in a more compact package that is collapsible. With its durable roller case, the 35-pound Andromeda can be transported between classrooms or around the office for meetings. Auto Focus and an electronic zoom ranging from 3x to 30x give you the magnification you need in your choice of full color, black-and-white, white-on-black or a variety of background/foreground colors. Tactile touch control buttons are located on the front panel. Andromeda also has an adjustable tilt angle and low profile so it can be set up comfortably, and an anti-glare coating to reduce reflections and increase contrast. With a VGA computer input for use as a PC display, a low vision user can avoid the need for a separate monitor for a computer. There is a menu option in the Andromeda to select full screen PC image or Andromeda image for this purpose. If this is not a necessity, look at the Eclipse, which is the lighter companion to the Andromeda. Tech notes: |
