The user-friendly Braille Voyager display guarantees to Braille users the same portable access for active participation in the mainstream, global information community.

With the Braille Voyager, the Braille user has complete control of the PC or laptop directly from the Braille display. Using the Braille keyboard for Windows functionality lessens dependence on a specific screen reader as well as takes advantage of the use of standard Windows commands, minimizing the need for specialized training. Function keys on the Braille Voyager display can be customized for specific commands. From e-mailing to word processing, this added functionality eliminates the need to repeatedly move your hands between the computer keyboard and the Braille display.

The Braille Voyager brings you true USB connectivity with industry standard plug-and-play technology. Whereas other Braille displays rely on internal, expendable batteries for their power source, the Braille Voyager uses the same battery source that powers your laptop or PC, thus eliminating the bulk, weight and replacement costs associated with extra batteries. Designed with portability and power management in mind, Braille Voyager's impact on battery life is minimal, less of a power drain than using a standard CD drive!

The Braille Voyager is available in two versions: as a 44 or 70-cell Braille display. The Braille Voyager 44 is small enough to slide into the front pocket of a laptop case; the Braille Voyager 70 is more designed to match the length of a desktop keyboard. The Braille Voyager family can be used with either a desktop or laptop computer and can be used with many screen readers. And the Braille Voyager 44 has a cover that can be folded out from the display to act as a raised cushion for resting your desktop or laptop keyboard for convenient access, while you can sit a keyboard safely on top of the main flat section of the Braille Voyager 70.
