The Liberty Scholar is a portable, battery-powered video magnifier that is ideal for college, high school and intermediate students in the classroom, the library, between school and home, or anywhere on campus. It also is great for professionals who require portable magnification in multiple situations.

Liberty Scholar's ergonomic, mouse-type handheld camera features 12x to 27x continuous magnification. Built-in rollers help the user guide the lightweight 4-ounce camera smoothly across reading text, including binding in books. There is also a distance camera that mounts on top of the 12” Color TFT flat screen display that pans and tilts with auto focus and has up to 10x zoom.

Choose full color viewing, black-and-white, white letters on a black background or amongst 4 common text and background color selections to accommodate contrast-sensitive low vision users. A tilt stand allows the user to set a comfortable reading angle and distance.

Liberty Scholar comes with a worldwide power supply but can also run off its included batteries. Extra batteries are available for extended battery-powered use.
