The OPTRON family of video magnifiers are highly versatile video magnifiers, ideal for home use, at school and on the job. With its sturdy, bounce-free steel arm, an abundance of space underneath the camera and excellent color picture quality, it is the perfect tool for reading, writing, crafting and other hands-on activities.

The OPTRON takes up a minimum of space and integrates itself perfectly into a desktop work area. It's always there, and yet not in the way.

The OPTRON's wide swivel arm provides an very large magnification area. Twist Cam technology makes it easy to keep the image upright and leveled. And the OPTRON does not require a reading tray, although one is available as an accessory.

There are 4 different models that make up the OPTRON family:

OPTRON vision: Top quality at the most affordable, the OPTRON vision offers a large variety of monitor options. This is a powerful tool to maintain independence and quality of life for a person with Low Vision.

OPTRON observer: Like the OPTRON vision, but with distance viewing capability. With the OPTRON observer, it is easy to look around and see the surroundings at any distance and at an almost unlimited viewing angle.

OPTRON mobile: Ready to go on trips or just from classroom to classroom, the OPTRON mobile features a modular swivel arm and sturdy carrying case. It is also equipped for distance viewing.

OPTRON pro: Versatility at its best! The OPTRON pro is computer-compatible, features a line reader and built-in LED reading light. This is also equipped with distance viewing and includes a carrying case.

A variety of accessories are available for the OPTRON: The Reading Tray slides smoothly and accurately. It is very sturdy and offers a large work area. The Reading Tray can be fully locked and vertically locked.

The LCD Monitor Arm allows for flexible and ergonomic monitor positioning. With this item, the monitor does not block the work area on the desk. It is the perfect accessory for dual tasking.
