There a
two models in the Voice Sense Family: The Voice Sense has a Perkins type of keyboard (the same as the Braille Sense PLUS). The Voice Sense QWERTY has a QWERTY keyboard with an LCD display. Both are practical devices which are small enough to carry easily, especially in a handbag. The Voice Sense QWERTY also has built-in 4 GB of internal memory; you can extend that memory using USB, USB OTG and SD slot. Using built-in Bluetooth and wireless enable you to search information and share documents. You can record with the Voice Sense QWERTY, as well as use the FM radio ro listen to your favorite local stations. The Voice Sense QWERTY has built-in GPS receiver and electronic compass for Sense navigation. It helps you to guide to get to the final destination. If you enter your destination, it searches the direction automatically. The Sense navigation gives you the information of the buildings around you. You can save the information of new buildings, bus stops, or frequent directions for your convenience. The information is given by voice. (Map data is optional.) Many of the features of the Voice Sense Family are similar to its sister products, the Braille Sense Plus Family. However, the main features are listed below. Features of the Voice Sense Family: File Manager: File Manager is similar to the Windows File Manager, so it is easy to manage all files, folders, and disks Word Processor: You can easily create, edit, and print various types of documents, which can be sent to a printer or embosser DAISY Player: The DAISY player provides various functions to read DAISY files as well as files from Bookshare.org. Live Chatting: Live Chatting is very similar to using Windows Live Messenger. It is very useful for users to chat between PC and Voice Sense users through the Internet. E-mail and Internet: You can send and receive e-mails, and you can surf the web, read news, and search the dictionary. Media: Easy-accessible audio buttons and powerful playback of the media are big features on the Voice Sense.
Connecting to PC: You can transfer files back and forth with a computer via USB cable, USB stick, and CF memory. And also you can share via E-mail. Via Braille Display: It can be connected with Braille Cell display for voice and Braille output. Perfectly compatible with SyncBraille. Text display on LCD (Voice Sense QWERTY only): Information on the Braille display can be shown in text on the LCD window, for use by a sighted assistant. Multi-tasking (Voice Sense QWERTY only): Capable of running up to 7 programs simultaneously, the Voice Sense QWERTY is a true multi-tasking notetaker in the industry. Additional features:
