ZoomText is available in two versions: as solely as screen magnifier and also as screen reader and magnifier. ZoomText includes a talking setup program and free lifetime technical support.

ZoomText Magnifier/Reader: ZoomText Magnifier/Reader gives you all the features of ZoomText Magnifier, plus screen reading that's powerful and easy to use. ZoomText Magnifier/Reader echoes typing, reads information pointed to by the mouse, and speaks program events as they occur. Flexible verbosity settings give you complete control over the amount of information spoken by ZoomText.

The AppReader reads documents, web pages and e-mail, from within the parent application. And with ZoomText's specialized application support for Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Acrobat and Java, you’ll be reading documents and web pages with 100% accuracy.

ZoomText Magnifier/Reader's Reading Zones let you instantly see and hear selected areas of your applications. You can define up to 10 zones per application for your convenience.

Expanded Support for Internet Explorer 7 - ZoomText has been updated for compatibility with Internet Explorer 7, including support for tabbed browser windows.

ZoomText Supports USB CCTVs - ZoomText can be used with USB CCTV devices, allowing for simultaneous magnified viewing from ZoomText and a CCTV camera. When used together, ZoomText's magnified view appears in one half of the screen while the CCTV camera view appears in the other.

The following CCTV manufacturers have added or are currently adding support for ZoomText in their USB CCTV products: Ash Technology, Clarity Solutions, Low Vision International, Optelec, Optron and SynSupport. For information on using your USB CCTV device with ZoomText, contact your CCTV manufacturer. Note: Some ZoomText features are not available when a USB CCTV device is active on the system.

With ZoomText, seeing and hearing everything on your computer screen is clearer than ever. The newer xFont magnification displays high-definition text that you'll recognize effortlessly. With NeoSpeech synthesizers, your applications and documents are read aloud by friendly, human-sounding voices - right through your computer's speakers. When the magnification level is set to 1x, ZoomText enables Windows ClearType font smoothing, improving the boldness and clarity of unmagnified text.
